Nathalie Hunter
Nathalie Hunter (1967, Belgium) makes drawings, paintings and interactive installations. She studied fine arts in Salamanca, Buenos Aires, Leipzig, London, Brussels and Antwerp.
Hunter paints, draws and makes in situ installations in which she loves to draw on walls, floors ceilings and windows of the exhibition place. The interaction with the other is always present in her work. She works around themes involving awareness of the lost link with our bodies, with our own nature, with nature in general. For this she uses techniques such as interviews and workshops but also specific computer software and websites that feed and show her work. After years of investigations in techniques with high gloss enamel on vinyl she is now returning to oil paint to give a new perspective.
Nathalie Hunter recently exhibited at Mu.ZEE - Ostend, Trajector art fair -Brussels, Galerie Les Filles du Calvaire - Brussels, Domestico - Madrid, Galerie Majke Husstege - Den Bosch, Palais de Tokyo -Paris.
