Rhythm of individual acts of Chang Tzu-ching’s creation is using hands to paint, focuses on the unpredictability of the inherent mind, subconscious instinctive painting, painting process controllability and uncontrollability that painting results can be expected and unexpected in which the screen does not use words to explain the limitations of the viewer receives the image of the subjective consciousness works.

 

The creative method of the works shown in Sublimation of Boundaries International Contemporary Art Exhibition originated from the living environment of her childhood, in which factory tools, machinery, and packaging processes were her toys. For this reason, her method is largely influenced by the operation and feel of these factory elements. Another element she often uses is kitchenware since her, as a mother, cooks for her children. Chnag Tzu-ching  thinks creating art is an inseparable and essential part of life. Using her works to serve as a record of her everyday life, she also found out that the amount of time that she has for herself has significantly shrunk since becoming a parent. However, the pressure that comes with this shortage of time helped her to discover her own rhythm. Compared to before, she is now using more paint and in more ideal locations and proportions. Perhaps this unprecedented stress in life is exactly how she finds an ever stronger level of energy as an artist. Infusing this stress into them, her works are filled with a positive, optimistic energy, as well as her own expectations for continuing to devote herself to art.
